i did the medical administration assistant program online and i was never informed i had to do a in person internship. I found out when i recently applied somewhere and i didn’t get the job and they said it’s because i don’t have hands on experience. My counselors never helped me. All i want is to get a job in the field i studied for. But it was all a waste of money and time.  Excellent college choice for Massage Therapy. Very easy going, productive, and lots of hands on experience. The instructor is phenomenal and very caring. He ensures every student knows and understands the subject and is a great mentor. His knowledge of Massage is incomparable. He made me fall in love with massage and even all the parts of massage I had no interest in. Mr. Parks is an amazing instructor. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about massage therapy. He connects well with students and very good at engaging people. Throughout my enrollment process everyone has been so helpful an accommodating. I love how you can tell the enrollment staff is very passionate about helping their students get enrolled. Eleshea has been absolutely wonderful helping me through the process she has been excited with me as I am getting prepared for my upcoming semester. You can tell Eleshea truly cares for her job and the students she comes across. She is truly wonderful. Miguel my financial aid officer has been great as well. He is very kind and answers all of my questions throughly laying out all of my options. I cannot wait to start my semester at carrington college. Do not hesitate with this school! I love the environment at Carrington. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Especially Ms Eleshea Bass she is very supportive and shows that she wants to see me do well in the program. They claim they are here to help you but DONT! I had issues with books and getting into an estimate on my financial aid. They were no help whatsoever!!! They never reached out back to me with an estimate or with any help to find the books properly. I wanted to test this college because I was bored and had nothin to do so I was like why not do this program see if I like it and if I didn’t I would just quit but to my surprise carrington college was worth the money and had fun and actually learned what i went to this college for. Plus teacher and staff at this place are super friendly and nice people. Trust me you won’t regret. Great app place to be  Never helped me get a job after graduation. DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL! will not help you AT all if you are a struggling student trying to get a job. Most jobs don't even want to hire me after seeing my school. Despite my eagerness to learn and engage, I've encountered numerous obstacles due to the lack of support from teachers, the absence of effective communication within the school, and the dearth of organizations designed to aid students.\n\nOne of the most disheartening aspects has been the inability to rely on teachers for guidance and assistance. Instead of fostering an environment of learning and growth, many teachers seem indifferent or disinterested in helping students navigate their academic challenges. Whether it's a lack of availability during office hours or a dismissive attitude towards student inquiries, the overall sense of apathy among the teaching staff has been palpable.\n\nFurthermore, the communication within the school leaves much to be desired. Important information about deadlines, events, and resources is often communicated haphazardly, if at all. This lack of clear communication not only creates confusion but also exacerbates the feeling of isolation among students who are already struggling to find their place within the school community. Just rode through it. Are the school grounds or office open during saturday? Always a clean campus. Security watch the campus during the day and during the weekends the campus is closed. Great professors and classes offered. Bus stops are all conveniently located by campus.   Impossible to speak with International Student Services. Seems like Emily Medrano, Student Programs Assistant, DSO is the only person taking care of this. It's been more than a week I am calling, leaving voice messages and emails and never get a response from her.\n\nTerrible service!  Work Net/ EDD is no help for people that come looking to do business. I personally came to fax because EDD told me they could help me better than the one on Swain and Westlane. The receptionist automatically told me we don't deal with EDD before asking any of the workers. Very disappointed with Work Net both locations. 88 th Commencement Ceremony ! Class of 2023 It's a pretty good community college but their counseling office is horrible. They are overbooked and now only accept walk-ins. There are 2 counselors on site any day except Wed. The person at the counter will tell you the wait is 1-1.5 hours, no matter how many people are ahead of you but the wait will min 2 hours. Also, athletes get priority. They can't even tell you if they will be able to see you that day because it depends on how things go.\n\nWhoever is managing the counseling office is incompetent, and whoever is managing the head of counseling is even worst. As an organization that has been operating for many years, they are failing the students. As a long-term established org, by this time they have enough information to do an analysis of:\n1) how long appointments take for freshman vs sophomore vs others (a math student could do this fairly easily)\n2) what are their peak times vs slow times, per day, per month, per year\n3) which degrees take the most counseling time\n3) how many counselors do they need to clear and prevent future backlog\n4) if they don't have enough counselors, who can they cross-train (there was a number of admin staff just chillin at their computers)\n5) estimate how much time each person will wait.\n\nNote for new students: The map of campus has no legend. Student Services is marked as DeRicco building. If you don't know this, you will get lost. I hope they fix this. Delta College has a less than efficient administration in more than one area. They don’t follow protocol with their school policies if they even know what they are. Every time questions surface about their conduct in correlation to following policy they tell me they have to check on “that”. My husband is a current student and either  doesn’t get responded to or passed over to a different faculty member who isn’t knowledgeable about the assistance he needs. He was a victim of identity theft and the grades resulting from it kept him ineligible for financial aid for about a year despite the fact he never received a dollar in financial aid during that period. Seems to me there should be some policies in place for cases like that since a couple years ago all those fraudulent accounts were discovered by two professors. This place needs a serious overhaul in administration for financial aid. When I myself attended back in the 90’s the date the financial aid stated was the date we got paid. You could bank on it. Today’s financial aid date disbursements are explained as subject to change and are just an estimate as to a pay date. That sounds like it could use some consistency and routine processes so current students can have some certainty when it comes to receiving the money that was awarded to them both by state and federal agencies. If your going to be a computer science major, don’t come here because Maumalanga, Zhang, and Perez are the worst professors and they don’t teach. Go enroll another community college if you want to earn a AS in computer science. What a waste! The psychology professors at Delta College are amazing! If your a upcoming psychology major, I suggest you come to Delta. You’ll be amazed how those psychology professors are! We were notified beforehand which was good to know. My group were not  able to do clinical’s  but we made sure we practiced and studied every chance we got.\n\nI really appreciate this school, I was super nervous but all of that left once I met them. I was more than prepared to take my state exam with ARC all because of Erica and Milva. Bradford has one of the cheapest and shortest CNA program in the 209, which is why I was drawn to the school in the first place. I knew I got my monies worth after completing the program and seeing how much effort the instructors put in to ensuring that their students pass their state exams.\n\nAlthough my group was only able to go to clinicals for one weekend because of the pandemic, we were given more than enough time to practice skills at their Simulation Labs. Their Sim Labs are complete with all the supplies, including beds and mannequins, that are used on the state exam and on actual LTC facilities.\n\nI appreciated how flexible they were with payments by offering weekly or biweekly payments, instead of having to pay in full before starting the program like other schools. I was also able to get my CPR certification through the school for an additional $60. Overall, I’m more than pleased with my experience and I now understand why many reviewers raved about the school. Mike and Edwin are growing one hell of school for Emts!  Mike and John (and all the other instructors) do a great job of breaking down the material in a way that makes it easy to comprehend.  They can do that because they have lived the life!  Instructors are always ready to answer questions and clarify as deep as you need!  I walked away feeling like an EMT and passed my NREMT on the first try, no way would I have been able to accomplish that with a lesser school!  Highly recommended for everyone thinking about joining the first responder life! And, if you're lucky you'll get invited to a pot luck put on by the CNAs downstairs! Got my sterile processing certification from here and I would like to say my instructor, John Lofranco is one of the best Sterile Processing instructors at this school. From being very knowledgeable and caring he'll go above and beyond to make sure you're prepared for your board certificate in sterile processing. Altamont Healthcare is great school that offer quick programs like EKG technician. I did this program here and it was fast! Staff is great. My instructor Linda is very thorough and communicated with students well. The class is very small so we have all the attention we needed during the class. Victoria is the staff there when we came in weekly for the lab is so sweet! She made sure we are comfortable and gave everything we need. She even offered us treats/ food on our breaks because it was night class. The process getting certification after finishing program is quick too. I wish they have nursing or radiology tech programs here. I recommend many of my family members and colleagues about Altamont HealthCare! Great EKG program!  The teachers and staff were very helpful, and I learned ALOT in the short time! Lynda is very knowledgable and took the time to explain everything.  A++++++ My experience at Altamont Heathcare was great! John who was my lab instructor was very helpful and made sure that every student was on the same page. The preparation and coursework to get you prepared for the exam was intensive, and needed to be. The course is designed to be fast.\nI passed my exam and went through their externship program.  I was placed quickly.\nFast-forward 5 years later. I'm proudly serving America's Veterans, as a Sterile Processing Technician.\nThe staff at Altamont Healthcare has been extremely supportive. Even after 5 years I was able to reach out to them for help with my recertification.  I needed documents that I had lost.  Their response via email was instantaneous. The professionalism and expedited attention to this matter was greatly appreciated!\nThis program has changed the direction of my life.  Teacher, Tamika Was awesome to learn from. She is definitely a role. Model experience was excellent. CalRegional curriculum is very fast and difficult but my instructor Ms. Nina Thomas taught me in a way that encouraged and inspired me to get through the accelerated class.  Honestly, the best experience I have had in a classroom setting. Michelle and Samoia (phlebotomy) are very knowledgeable, fun, easy to learn from, and helpful. My instructor was amazing.\nFirst time back in school in over 26yrs and I'm blessed to have found Michelle and CalRegional in Stockton Ca  I truly had such an amazing experience at CalRegional. I completed the Clinical Medical Assistant course and could not be more content with the professor I had. Ms. Nina is by the best professor I could have had for the Accelerated Clinical Medical Assistant program. Ms. Nina showed so much passion and patience towards every single one her students. She has gone above and beyond for her students to receive the best education. I also couldn't have enjoyed meeting my classmates. We all helped each other through this program and I can't wait to see how far each and every one of them go in life as Medical Assistants. Had such a great experience with Ms. Nina as the Medical assistant instructor in Stockton, taught us everything we needed to learn. Very happy with my experience!! I have had the most enjoyable experience as a student at Cal Regional. My instructor Ms. Nina is the absolute best. She is one of those who cares about you, your education, and the information that you are retaining. If she feels that you aren't getting it or picking up she will take the time out and work with you until you actually fully understand. The program itself isn't the easiest but she will definitely get you through. She cares and she pushes you to do better and be a better version of yourself. I almost dropped out in the beginning but because of her. The kind of instructor you want on your side is one who will not allow you to fail. Definitely would refer a friend. I definitely am recommending this program if your looking into starting a new career love to work and help people this program is for you, the instructors were great. If this is a goal you been looking into this program will definitely help you achieve them. At first, I was a little hesitant on whether or not to sign up for this this Phlebotomy class.  But it was the best decision I've ever made.  I took the Saturdays class from 8:00am-5:00pm.  I was very pleased with program, the learning environment, and staff.  Diana was a great instructor as well as Genesis our skills instructor.  I am really going to miss going to class every Saturday morning and all of my classmates.  Best of luck to you all ladies on your next adventure. I enjoyed the program it was quick and informative. My teacher ms. Without their encouragement and urge to help me accelerate, I wouldn’t have gotten far nor would I’ve realized what I was really capable of. They did MORE than just their job, they went beyond! They do care.💖Thank you for an experience I’ll never forget!  I really enjoyed the Phlebotomy class that I took here. It was definitely expedited, but Michelle made the class fun and easy to understand. I haven't taken the AMCA yet, but I feel well prepared. Samoia was also a great help during skills days and during externship. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone who wants to go into phlebotomy and do it quickly! I took the six week course, Mon - Thurs, 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Don’t waste your time with the Phlebotomy Program…waste of time and money. No proper job outlook. Takes ages to get your licence and by then employers don’t want to hire due to lack of experience after school gets out. Can’t say about other programs. Money isn’t worth it. Look elsewhere. I recently completed the phlebotomy program it was such a great experience! The Saturday class from 8am-5pm worked best with my schedule which was super convenient for me. Diana was hands down the best instructor. She's very helpful, understanding, and keeps it real. Really made us all feel like family. Would definitely recommend this program. It was a revilatzing and fresh experience with the very professional Miss Diana and Miss Michelle they help me achieve one of my set goals for life 💪 Diana was such an amazing teacher and was very helpful and perfectly explained the material in the class! They really make you feel like the class is a family and we all just had so much fun I had such a great experience and had recommend it to others. I took the Saturday 8am-5pm phlebotomy class the instructor was Diana. She was an amazing teacher that really helped and made things easier to understand. I recently completed the phlebotomy course with Michelle, & I passed my licensing exam with a 98/100! Michelle brought her many years of experience to share with the class & made sure we were all prepared to pass our exams. I am so grateful for Michelle, Samoia, and CalRegional for help

I’m going to be a mechanic  I was behind on credits from going to Franklin High my freshman year and went to Weber and I made up the credits with community service and I graduated in 2005. VERY good school. I recommend to anybody who doesn't want to go to a huge high school and don't want to deal with all the gang drama and fights that the bigger high schools have. bery good school, i learned that lots l;of things like mith, seciene, tecnologot. eachers are lit, and ghellp me with what o need help with. i gots lots of lfreinds like raifael, angusdrea, bionca, alexisis, danger diago, javaier, grammy award winner alexs, and loooman.  Good school Now that's a cool little spot to pick up some degrees Best school ever. Love the teachers, staff very helpful they see you as family not students.

My kids love this beautiful place dedicated to teach all of us how to be safe and healthy too ! 💖🙏🏻 thanks so much for all the activities they do for “ FREE “. My 3 kids know how to do CPR thanks to this little but very remarkable place.
