I got my CNA here and loved it so much I went back for the MA course. More than just a school; you grow as a person here. I just finished the course and already get compliments on my technique and where I went to school. Mrs. London uses various teaching styles to reach every student and has amazing patience and personality. I’m truly grateful for having had the opportunity to learn here.  I waent here probably 6years ago for a CNA class and just passed her MA/phlebotomy class. Mrs.London is an absolute joy to be around and does an amazing job with her classes. 100% recommend I called and spoke with someone a month ago regarding the phlebotomy technician program and set up a date and time to register for the training courses. My appointment was for 11:30 a.m. today, I showed up at 11:15 a.m. to my appointments and the door was locked. I called and no one answered the phone nor return my phone call back. I proceeded to stay until 11:45 a.m. and no one still showed up nor answer the phone. Also, I call to speak to someone 3 days ago which no one answered the phone, I left a voicemail into this day no one has not returned my phone call back. They say they are open on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. which I call during business hours and got no response. Bad business communication. 🚩🚩🚩🚩 Truly blessed to say that I am a CCMA thanks to Ms. London. She gave me the opportunity to finish the program via the 5 day workshop and then I was able to get certified. It has been a seamless experience and Ms. London is truly the best! I highly recommend if you are ready to take the next steps in your health career! Thanks a bunch! I have been trying to get in contact with someone since January, I even had testing center try to call so they could verify that I signed up for this class because they were gonna let me just take the certification test  but never got a response. I just wanted to be certified after working in the Medical field for 3 years and this place is clearly a scam. I got a response to my email 1 time a month ago and its been radio silent ever since. So I've emailed multiple times. You have better luck just going to the NHA website and paying the $74 to have practice test and study guides then paying for the test then giving this place your money. So sad and I hate I wasted almost $800 on a scam. I joined the school with much enthusiasm and hope for a better future but when I finished my dialysis technician class, I had issues to enroll for Intership with DaVita. This school could careless what happened to me. I am still at home almost a year since I finished my class work and Ms London is 100% aware that I haven't done my internship yet she won't even drop a line via email to give advice on the way forward or other options that could be available for me out there.. You do not learn anything and they take your money. I just took this  MA workshop on 4/17/17 for 5 days. It was not a refresher to me. The instructor Mrs. Tina was very kind but she showed us old videos everyday and there was not much of a lecture. We drew blood once and did and ekg once on a dummy. Ms. Tina talked mostly about her family. I did not pay to hear her family stories. I contacted the owner Mrs. London to advise her about the class and she advised me the class was just a refresher.I do not see where the refresher came in. So basically you pay for the class which is not cheap and they hand you a printed book  from the copier machine in a binder that you can purchase for $40 and say read this and as long as you attend the class everyday you get the certificate. So to all interested if you want to pay $723 for them to hand you a certificate and not feel refreshed then this class is for you. Aabacus have a very strong intensive program. The teachers are awesome and they have their own equipment so you can practice every time you want to. I took my CNA classes there and I don't regret it! Strongly recommend it  i worked with Ms. Anderson and Ms. Solom in the class of February 2024, these wonderful people went above and beyond to asure student success in the nursinf assistant program. we tested on one chapter everyday, and also practiced hands on training. we also went to a nursing home and got real life experience becoming medical professionals. the CNA program is good. i recommend it. And  the class room was lively Im giving only 3 stars because although ms.anderson was helpful in giving the information needed to move forward after the program, and opened up spots for her students to take the state exams on her own time, there was many problems i had with this program. First on the brochure it says CPR certification is included in the CNA program… it is not. Its extra, the program is very cheap, with broken dolls, limited supplies and uncomfortable nursing uniforms that dont fit right on anyone. One of the teachers was also teaching us the skills wrong and we didnt know until the end. When i explained we were being taught wrong i was told i shouldve known, and ignored what she had taught us. Everything was very disorganized, clinicals was not set up until last minute at a care facility that abuses patients and has very low ratings. A lot of the time there was not communication and the teachers did not seem to know what was going on, which caused confusion with the students. I just want to warn future CNAs what they will be getting into when coming to AABACUS because a lot of these reviews i read before applying all were 5 stars which i heard were all pushed very much so by the owner at the end of the program.  This CNA school teaches you everything you need to know to become a successful CNA.   Mrs. Anderson is your contact person to get information about the school, register and she can help you with potiental jobs opportunities after you receive  your certification. The instructors I had were Mrs. Austin and Mrs. Salome.  They were patient and caring and wanted everyone to succeed.  You have plenty of time to practice your skills and work with other students to make learning easier. Great experience and conveniently priced. The instructors are also knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend this school if you're ready for an accelerated program. Mrs Anderson and Nurse Salome makes sure that you know everything you need to know to pass both portions of the state exam. Mrs Anderson allows you to come in and practice your skills any time for FREE when other schools charges $75+. Nurse Salome also has a YouTube channel diminstrating all of the skills! (no reason you shouldn't pass)  I am so thankful for their encouragement, they truly do care about their students very positive environment. If you are not looking for a school that pushes you for success then this is not the school for you! I feel like this school is a scam last Thursday I was scheduled to meet and turn in my application and pay my  first payment at 10am well I get to place door was locked so I waited still nothing I called 50 times no answer  I texted number no response I even left a voicemail and nobody has called me back I had to find another school and happy I did because  this is not a good  business so yall be careful how do you  schedule someone and not show up or answer or return a call that's a RED FLAG  Run, don’t walk to sign up for this program! Mrs. Tedder has years in healthcare and she is a great teacher and explains the material in depth. Mrs. Destiny is very knowledgeable and hands on with every member of her class. You can tell both women love what they do and want everyone to succeed.   I took the CNA course with Covenant and I 100% recommended this school for anyone who wants to get their CNA. Every member of the staff is so sweet and really work with their students to make sure you understand what you need to know.  David & Mrs Tedder are the most genuine people that I've ever met.
