Located in the East Fairfields office complex on North Foster Drive in mid-city Baton Rouge, The H.E.A.R.T. Academy is an LDH-approved Nurse Aide Training Program emphasizing compassionate, patient-centered care. Students complete 40 hours of classroom instruction (days: Mon-Thu 9am-3:30pm; nights: Tue-Thu 4:30-10pm) followed by 40 hours of clinical experience at partner facilities. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Prometric Knowledge and Clinical Skills evaluation and, upon passing, are placed on the Louisiana Nurse Aide Registry. The academy also offers phlebotomy and CPR certification tracks.
