When it came to CPR training, they gave me two hours notice to get to the school when I live an hour away and I had to find childcare last minute which was impossible. They refused to allow me in on another cpr training with out paying another $75. So I paid for the cpr training elsewhere. They are very unprofessional and the complete opposite of their name. I would rate 0 stars if I could. Do not recommend this school. They did not teach anything that was needed to pass the national exam. Very disappointed in this school and all the staff for my experience.\nIt was a hassle for them to help me register to schedule my exam. I went for just the MA not the triple MA And they were not trying to schedule me with the NHA website until the rest of the class finished all three courses. I was never invited to the graduation. And I never even got a certificate after completing this course. This is the great place for learning and make your future bright all the office staff and teacher's are very good and cooperative they are always welcoming and helpful in every situation and guide you .Thanks to all teachers i successfully pass my All three exams now i am Certified Medical assistant, CPT,EKG .I personally recommend this place to and learn and make your future bright .  This school scammed us from beginning to end they charged the 4 ppl in class $3000 each for CNA class for 4days a week for 5 weeks we all were working as temp CNAs so they allowed us to basically teach ourselves we never did clinicals cause they basically threw up every time your doing the job already. We paid $250 for tools and supplies and the supplies where years old the blankets had mold on it that the teacher said she washed and tried to bleach off and the toothbrushes were dry rotted they would break when trying to use. The owner the mother was rude every time we wanted to ask questions she was upset we wanted clarification on what we was paying for. Over all that we paid $3000 for class $75 for tests and then they wanted us to pay for our graduation!! I mean as if $3000 wasn’t already an overcharge for what we received. The secretary tries to sell the school when you call but when your in there she acts if she has no answers  and the teacher too never has an answer always have to ask the Jo or Steve who will get back to you when they wanted to And this isn’t a bad review without receipts I got proof of all the issues we had with this place Went here for CCMA in 2015, had the worst experience plus wasn't even given and internship. Decided to try and give it a second chance for the LPN program, Barb (the secretary) answered the phone and sounded annoyed with my questions regarding the course. Decided not to make the same mistake twice. They answered all my questions and they  are very accessible on my hours that we need for decorations and arrangements for the party.  I will definitely rent this place for my next event I just want to say I loved my teacher and feel secure in my knowledge to work, but the owners of the school got 4,800+ 65 for Graduation and I got nothing but cheap material to work with while at school. I can’t wait to work with stuff that isn’t expired and breaks when being used. Don’t waste your time!  I originally went to this college as a kid and I did not take it seriously. As a result, I failed and went out into the real world. I learned a lot of life lessons that I didn't have to. After I got fired from my job of ten years, I went back. I was focused this time and college changed my life for the better. I made some good friends and I am on a career path that I really enjoy. I know the professors aren't the greatest, but you can still learn from them and be a self starter. Stay humble and have an open mind. Don't let anything distract you from your goal. Keep on top of your financial aide, apply for grants and scholarships, do your classwork and go out of your way to make your portfolio better. That's the mantra I followed and it worked. I'm going to be graduating soon and I'll be going to Rowan in the fall. College is like everything else in life, you get what you put in. As a college student here I can believe that Cumberland County College is a great community college to go to. The college has a wide variety of people of all different ages and ethnicities. The professors and staff of the college are always friendly and helpful. The college campus it self is beautiful and well designed. Creative art is spread throughout the Campus. There is always fun clubs you can join all over the Campus. Some clubs are academic others not as much. What ever you are looking for in a college you can find here at a affordable price in CCC  The staff at CCC are very diverse. I graduated 10 years ago and I had my share of the terrible professors and some excellent ones. My main gripe is the financial aid office. I don't know how many times I had to go there and whatever I went there for didnt get fixed. Each person does their own thing and they don't run it by the others. The library is large and the staff are very informative. They'll help you locate what your looking for. There is a computer lab that has long hours to assist students that need to write up papers or just check an email. The student staff can help you with a program if you ask. Just make sure to sign in. Kevin McGarvey is an amazing English professor. I worked alongside with Bernie Castro and he is the one to ask about IT (I learned a lot from him). I know Frank Phillips is no longer staff here as he's retired but he was one of the best professors there is. With that being said, one of my professors was arrested. So, they can be hit or miss.\n\nWhen you truly value your education you'll work extra hard for what you want. Don't let others deter your dreams. Great looking campus lots of buildings Green Space DONT GO HERE. Nobody is here to help you AT ALL. Unless you’re trying to get screwed over don’t go to Cumberland County College. Cumberland county college literally has one of the worst customer services ever. Tried to return one of my books and they tried to tell me that there is a deadline at the end of the semester to when you can return it so I couldn’t get back my money. One thing that I know, if the professors don’t like you, your grade is most likely to suck! Also be careful with course waivers here. I had a course waiver and somehow “it got overturned” and I ended up not graduating on time. But needless to say IM OFFICIALLY A COLLEGE GRADUATE as of today!!!!!     Customer service is TERRIBLE! The people are not helpful whatsoever and get back to you last minute about things. CCC deserves negative stars. CCC has terrible customer service. They NEVER answer the phone!! They don't assist you with anything until last minuet  I don't know.  I've gone to this college as a kid unprepared and messed up.  Went back when I matured and have had success thus far.  I've had excellent professors and professors that weren't so good.  But overall it's been a good experience.  Everyone's been helpful.  I just wish they had designated motorcycle parking like other schools.  A mixed bag. It's very possible to get unlucky and have a terrible experience, but for the most part the staff at least meets status quo. If you're lucky like me, you'll be surrounded by great professors, bosses, advisors, etc. to help you achieve more in a four year college. Bottom line is this: to get the best experience here, ask everyone you know about professors you've had. Its important to know about each professor in order to maximize your success.\n\nAlso, try to avoid online classes. It might work for you, but I had a terrible experience with all 3 of my online courses. Fantastic....☺ I keep trying to figure out information from them on the phone and they are no help. I live a hour away I don't want to go up there for no reason. I cannot get a hold of anybody. And the guy that answered the phone today was to lazy to find out the dead line sign.

This is a great school.  When the world screams for the need for trade, this high school steps up and far supersedes what the demand requires.  Teaches the kids how to survive in the real world along with meeting state requirements for education.  Can't beat that!  My son is so happy to attend this shcool!      Their STRIVE program for special needs students was efficient. Now that they have their precious technical high school, those kids are shoved in a corner lost and forgotten. They even have their own bathrooms so they have no interaction with the other students. Now the program is being cut altogether. Such a shame. Be careful what you wish for I guess.
