Unfortunately I never heard back from them after the second interview. It would have been nice to receive a courtesy email or call to let me know they were going with a different candidate. Absolutely horrible...not only the nurses, but the company as well.  They do not value your child, only the bottom dollar.  They hire nurses with no work ethic or professionalism.  I'm not sure why we have them a second chance to begin with, but feeding a gtube child only 3/4 of a feed and nothing else for the rest of the day is not acceptable.  He was essentially starved and dehydrated all day.  Their nurses continuously lie, and the company sticks up for them.  These animals looked after my friends child in Philly and made him even LESS safe with their incompetency and arrogance. Their multiple stories are simply shocking.\n\nThey are dangerous to you and yours and are a disgrace to their profession, don't go near them.         Nurses at preferred are great atleast the ones that help with my brother. They generally care . Medications are on time and done right,he clean , and most important he’s confortable enjoys there company which is a very important thing for his psych. My brother feels safe . Same as we feel confident when we’re not there that he will get his needs met .They help out when needed which is nice to have.  Exceptional .🙂😇 I love the nurses that I do have and the majority of the nurses that has come into my house to take of my son. Any how the personal at the office need to be trained on how to deal with the parent of a client. It will be nice if they are more responsible with calling when a nurse call out and NOT to be rude with the patient parents/guardian. Attitude and compassion it's an important part of dealing with the family of a patient in the health care business. After all we are the ones who choose which agency to use to take medical care of our precious kids. Again, my nurses are AMAZING!!        The pay is good. Having the available paperwork to do the job lacks since you must travel to the office to accurie the paperwork yourself instead of having it available on the case. They do their  best to accommodate you with available shifts and times. If you have any issues with your class schedule or require accommodations, you've got problems.  Support is weeks away to help. Heck, my child still hasn't received the 1098-t tax form even after in person & online inquiry. Was told to go home and look online even after submitting a copy of the online response to the staff member.  I wouldn't recommend this school.  I've never had such a negative experience like this from an educational institution and I have graduates from University of Kentucky, Drexel, etc.. Expected more and am getting less. They are not open everyday for walkins, and with them not being open there should always been someone to answer the phone! Sorry I am not as fortune to have parents pay tuition, but that’s why I’m trying to attend college. To get a career, so I don’t always have to depend on THE STATE! Liked it. How do you not have any intramural sports. Closing them down for Covid is just another move towards profit. It’s disgraceful. So i canceled my classes only 2 classes due to my move. Then i was charged for the classes because they claimed i never canceled. I sent my orders and class cancelation sheet over but never heard a word about it until i went to reapply to a college. My emails show otherwise and they refuse to let me show them as i cant access my school account. They were nothing but rude and that dude Miles should be fired asap. All of the professors I've encountered have been excellent.    I wish they would be more understanding to older adults. Good classes  Don’t go here the administration is terrible. Professors give you zeros after the semester ends for no reason. Nobody will help with anything, it’s terribly disorganized. Whole place is a mess If you care about your mental health don’t go here. They lied about having a cafeteria, so students paid tuition not knowing they couldn’t get a meal at school.  Super disorganized and a mess with covid, a shame because some professors are good.  I made over 4 appointments last semester with financial aid and “walk up” advisors. First of all you will wait an hour or more and they don’t let you schedule in advance. Filled out homeless paperwork the first day of classes in fall for my fasfa. The FA department emailed me after they didn’t answer my 6+ attempts to contact them this summer then sent me an email about how they’d mail me a paper with some questions. (Homeless means I didn’t have a house to send a letter too) After my second meeting they assured me I was all set, I filled out the papers. That my AID package would be available in a week. Next month nothing was showing up so I went back. They apologized and said the lady was out for a month, said definitely next week. This happened again and again until a Thanksgiving where I was told I couldn’t apply for the FASFA because I needed all types of documents (that I asked about the first day of classes). Got a rude email from the FA guy a day later. Don’t go to RCBC these people just want your money, and if you don’t have it they treat you like a dog. The relatively low cost of tuition does not outweigh the carelessness and ignorance of the administrators. I e-mailed an administrator six times trying to figure out some important information regarding my classes and to get my problem solved, and when I finally got an answer it was her telling me that the school was closed and to message her on google meets if I "truly had an issue". Mind you, I sent the first of the six emails before the school had closed for break, so there was more than enough time to solve my problem or even just send me a reply. Also, the message she sent me was clearly not an automated one, so instead of answering my extremely important questions, she brushed me off and sent me a super general email. Beyond unprofessional, and the frustration is not worth it for the money you spend here. I simply would NOT recommend this school to ANYONE who wanted to get a higher education. Paying out of county rates would be more beneficial for a better education than coming here. The professors I had were okay but I ended up getting a degree I didn't care for because there isn't really a good selection of majors to choose from that are interesting and/or tangible to achieve.  Had an amazing experience pre-covid. Post-covid has been downhill. Had some teachers who did not know how to teach online, but also had some of the best teachers i've ever give. I recently completed the program for Medical Billing & Coding and definitely recommend it to anyone who already has experience in tbt healthcare industry, or wants to get started. All of the instructors were so helpful and knowledgeable about the curriculum. The owner, Brandi, was honestly one of the most intelligent, welcoming people I’ve met. She always made herself available for me to call her or email her with any questions that I had. She also helped me prepare for the CPC Exam every day for an entire week, with exam prep  tests that she paid for out of own pocket. The program is online, and it is NOT easy, so you have to be willing to put in the work, but if you do that, you will have full support and help from the instructors. Waste of time  I graduated from merit a little over a month ago and loved it! I took the am MA class and graduated with 5 certifications. I looked forward to class and clinical every day. Miss Elle was a fantastic teacher and I don’t think class would have been so exciting without her. She never got tired of the millions of questions I asked, and always had faith in us even if we weren’t too sure ourselves. She was always so encouraging even when we were terrified of phlebotomy and made sure we were always confident and did our best. By the end of the course we mastered it. The classes are small so you are guaranteed to get the direct focus and help you need and I think that’s the best way to learn. We practiced everything on each other so we were able to see what drawing blood on different people is like and also EKG. You get a lot of homework and quizzes/tests but I promise that is a big part of what helps you get by. I wouldn’t have retained much information without that. Yes there are a lot of rules and some things can be strict but if you’re focused and serious about the class and career it shouldn’t be a problem. While there are a lot of rules, the environment is still relaxed if that makes sense. Catherine and Brandi were so helpful as well. They really care and want you to do the best, even after you graduated. They make sure you know what you’re doing when it comes to job searching, applications, and interviews.and will even help you find job placement. I was recently offered a job in a local hospital and couldn’t wait to pass the good news to Brandi, Catherine, and Elle. I could not have made it without them. Im so thankful for merit and am so happy I chose to help me get started on this career I am a recent graduate of the MA/PCT class. Attending this type of course during the pandemic was definitely challenging, and our class that started with 4 people, and ended with 2 at graduation definitely had to work extra hard to complete the clinical components required to graduate. I am thankful that this program was still being delivered during the pandemic and I do feel ready to enter the workforce.\n\nI have nothing but amazing things to say about the instructor, Elle, who literally kept me going everyday! She was encouraging, motivating, empathetic, compassionate, and brought lots of her personal experiences to the curriculum, which only enriched my understanding of the material. I had no prior experience in the healthcare field, and I graduated (and passed all of the NHA certifications) because Elle took great care to ensure I was not only prepared, but was able to excel in the course. I have been in the orthopedic field the last few years and now I get to take my knowledge with to an opportunity at Cooper Hospital. This is not a course for the faint of heart who are not prepared to move at light-speed and maybe be knocked down a few pegs.  The instructor takes no prisoners and you either learn to fall in and take it or stay at home.  That being said: I have learned more in these ten weeks than I feel like I learned all through high school and even though I felt some days that completing the clinical was going to be impossible, Catherine, Brandi, and Constance made time for us to get everything done, be it staying with the other class, or staying after in and getting in an extra hour and a half to catch up on sticks.  Yes, you come home bruised and sore, but you learn real fast not to make the same mistakes again, especially since you stick your classmates almost everyday and generally won't hold back telling you that you gave them a bruise.  Four stars as I felt like sometimes it was a little disorganized, but then I came from a large class with people of varying levels of knowledge and who had varying educational and skill needs. My daughter just went here to the MA program and she loved it.  She had such a great experience, learned a lot, and has had two job offers recently.  We really feel like the teacher Constantine cares a lot about the students and being able to go out and get good jobs and succeed.  Her cousin is now looking at the program too.  My experience at Merit was awesome. I took the MA course and have been working as a MA for almost a year now. Catherine was fantastic, as was the group of girls in my class. We all worked together and would even meet before or after class to study. It is a lot of information to process but Catherine is great with giving little acronyms and analogies to help you remember, which helped a lot while I was taking my certifications. W

The actual classes are conducted in a Hilton hotel, which is very nice. Lots of beverages and snacks to get through the time needed comfortable. My instructor was Patricia. She was very kind, knowledgeable, and patient. The session was very engaging, and the information was concise (unless someone had questions, in which she answered in-detail). I plan on coming here in another two years because of the experience. Patrice was extremely knowledge and helpful during my Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED/FA course. She guided and demonstrated various procedures with a comfortable pace and in good detail and was everything I needed and wanted from an instructor.
