 The staff are friendly and accommodating. I give regularly, however this time my hemoglobin count was too low. I will correct that problem and reschedule.   It makes me feel good helping others  Knowledgeable people and took time to explain everything Showed up for my 1:30 appointment yesterday, and was informed they were closing the facility. They were unable to tell me why.   The Sunday morning platelet staff area simply the best. Save a life Friendly staff, they always have good conversation to help the time go by quickly.    Easy process Doing good work  The staff was friendly, during both my volunteering and donating. The donating process was pretty simple and streamlined for the most part. Overall pleasant experience.       Save a life give blood or volunteer your time  Donate blood for votes drive for EMS, Firefighters and Police to see who wins.  Where we lived before here the blood donation center would give away little prizes like movie tickets, here nothing.\n\nThen I put up with dozens of calls asking me to come back the minute my 3 months is up.\n\nThen I drive all the way over here from the west side, and they’re only doing platelets.\n\nI’m probably done with trying to help.   Staff is funny and friendly enough to make you almost forget they are sticking a needle in your arm. Donating whole blood takes an average of 90 minutes from the time you walk in the door. They are really nice to new comers, and will go out of their way to alleviate your concerns and worries before starting.  Nice people help here. They save lives! I work here and love what I do collecting blood It was clean and all of the staff were professionals.  Pathetic. Show up 30 minutes early for a Power Red donation. I sit, and watch 7 people who came after me, walking, get called back. Then little Ms. Dana wants to laugh at me? I will keep what I have, and reserve it for loved ones if needed. Horrible service from what I used to think was a top-notch non-profit agency.     Has a high turn over rate. Ask for a phlebotomist who has worked there for at least a year to stick you if you have small or difficult veins. They're all nice, but there's alot of newbies.
