 Good Extremely nice staff!  Pleasant environment.  Went here to donate platelets as there is a shortage of blood and platelets. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Although Netflix was down I watched a movie (Edison) and two Veronica Mars’. Midtown Donation Center. Zip code 30324. Everyone is very friendly and appreciative. Great Red Cross facility the place is amazing the people are awesome I got my certification here for basic life support and CPR, instructor was very great he teach very great he's an awesome person I brought my oldest grandbaby up to do her CPR. And all of that course that she would she would be leading when she become a nurse she loved it. The environment was great and I would like to say for me and my family to you and yours and establishment thank you. Extremely dissatisfied with the CPR certification instructor here. AHA did a much better job. I tried to enroll in a special Cancer program donating plasma. I donate platelets and blood. I got rejected which shows they take 100% precautions for safety of donors. Recently recertification of CPR and AED training good course, good instruction. I took a First Aid/CPR/AED class. The teacher was excellent. I’m honestly pretty disappointed with the donation clinic here, I’ve never written a review before but they do not try to work with you at all. I had an appointment with them and got lost, I tried calling them and got multiple voicemails. Once I finally arrived they have no signs to tell you what door you should go to for donations. The first place I walked into the lady was very nice and gave me the correct directions, once I got to the door they had it locked and I stood outside after speaking with someone for 5 minutes. All she says was sorry your appointment was at 9 and your past 15 minutes, mind you it was 9:20.. since I waited at the door for longer she said I couldn’t donate. I live 45 minutes away and this was a major waste of gas and time.  I'm a long time blood donor. I always enjoy going to this location. The front desk gentleman is always pleasant and professional.\nThe staff (Phlebotomist) are very professional but a joy (fun) to be around.\nI have small rounding veins and they handle those small veins like nothing.\nI enjoy giving blood to help others. Should have better signage for blood donations. It's in the rear of building. Called to get assistance for a family member and was called back by an extremely rude male supervisor! Previous agent was so rude we actually had to hang up on her! $20,000 worth of    damage due to a kitchen fire, home inside covered in soot, air ducts covered in soot and this guy stated its livable with a 4 yr old and hung up! This home needs a hazmat team as everything has the strong odor from smoke and chemicals. Cleaning alone would be well over $15,000. I tried to explain that and he started over talking and hung up the call. I spoke to our local fire department and was advised nobody should be living/sleeping in the home. We took the furnace filter to show our local fire dept and was advised they have been breathing in toxic chemicalss they sleep. Will be calling the local office and reporting them! Totally not the experience we ever expected reaching out to the Red Cross for help! The 2 people who worked on this case should definitely not be assisting anyone in need!   Great place to donate blood, platelets, and/or plasma. The phlebotomists make you feel comfortable and make sure you’re feeling well. Plenty of snacks and whatnot for after. Great organization with blood collection center. Georgia Region Headquarters. Came here for a CPR training through my job. The place was clean and front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. EXTREMELY disappointed in what I just experienced! I made an appointment on the app this morning to donate blood. Did the Rapid Pass to speed up the appointment, only to get here and be turned away because they don't take Saturday appointments according to the person I spoke with. The Monroe Dr location made no attempt to accommodate or try to fit me in.  Very kind and appreciative staff.
