 It's my first class, I like the place  good class my group watched the entire top 5000 cheeses in biomed  Incredible to be able to interact with so many careers in such an interactive way. The Career Center has some of my favorite classes. I recommend interior design, even if that isn't something you might consider. It's a really fun class and is hands on almost every step of the way. This place has really cool courses for high schoolers, and offers a ton of options. The classes there are quite good. :)   Very Helpful Staff My daughter had an absolute fantastic experience.  Not your old school "vo tech." But adult classes are outrageously priced.  Are at least a good many of them.  This was one of my favorite things about going to high school at Rock Bridge, was having the Career Center right there! There are so many fun classes that can really get you ahead if you're pursuing a technical career. I took floristry, but they have welding, they have cooking, it's really remarkable all the options here. I think a lot of parents and students underutilize this resource. It's not the "traditional" path, but it builds real, viable skills and gives students a chance to explore things that most high-schoolers have no way of accessing! There's a digital lab here. It's just an absolutely fantastic resource, and I wish I realized then to the degree that I do now how rare and valuable it was.

This is a great place for people with disabilities to find work, unlike other employment agencies. I moved to Columbia in 2017 and these people, this place has been a God send. The girls that worked with me were so kind, compassionate, supportive and I received much help. All the men and woman's I met here workers are educated,  successful hard workers and business people that are people in society you want to strive to be like. They encouraging to see you make it, equip you in not only job skills , but social skills to be a hard worker, good employee, family provider and have an opportunity to work. o thankful for this place  It makes me love this town more and understand it's compassionate heart to support people struggling in life  in finding a job that is able to allow them to find perfect, happy place to work that will accommodating what they want to, don't mind and are able to do and succeed at it. I'm a former student. I really love the place it help me a lot. They are guarantee to help you get back on track, all you got to do is opening your mouth an ask for help.  Talked a good game plan, did not seem to follow through Don't have a job still!!!! I like the fact that they do offer services to the community but wish it was a lot more. please steer clear of this school. they will teach you outdated information and proceed to modernize the tests so that you will never ever be able to get more than a 90. save yourself the energy and time and avoid this place at all costs.  If you're expecting a vibrant social life with a strong sense of community, you won't find it here at MACC. There's no clubs, no campus activities, and very few social opportunities to meet people. If you value making friends and a strong community, this school isn't going to fulfill those needs.\n\nYou go to MACC for one main purpose and that is to save money taking your core classes here and then transferring to a bigger university for your junior and senior year.\n\nNow if you REALLY want to make friends and find a sense of community, you can still attend many of the clubs and activities at Mizzou without being a student there. Hell, I was at the Mizzou Film Club for two years and nobody suspected I didn't go to school there so it's definitely possible. Contrary to the negative reviews about staff, it is easy to tell that they are doing their best with the cards they have been dealt. There are definitely some that stand out and have been the best professors I have ever had. My favorite classes were Spanish with Carlos Mendez-Flores, Public Speaking with Connie Fine, General Astronomy with Lanika Ruzhitskaya, Intro to Philosophy with Mummert, and last but certainly not least, Health Psychology with Joyce Shulte. Thanks to these individuals I loved coming to class and learning what they had to teach.  Very helpful college, they offer online only or hybrid classes so those of us that live a distance away don't have to drive as much.\nAlso, the professors are great here, they really make sure you know the class material and are very helpful.\nFurthermore, this location in particular is quite convenient being right off I-70.  Parking is free! And it's right next to a couple places to get cheap snacks before you get back on 70. It's awesome other than the kids who are acting super odd.    If you check professor ratings online first the classes are a great deal. It's a lot more straight forward then Mizzou. Parking is free and tuition is reasonable. Some of the teachers are bad but you can just change them on the first week.     If you need anything about enrolling classes or admission, just go to ian, he is a great helpful guy  Great place and clean. The check in gaurd was great but some of the other staff could have been more polite to some one who hadn't ever been there before The college where the staff and faculty members treat you like a human being. I enjoyed my time as a student there. There are several professors that I will never forget and will cherish their lectures and conversations. This school knows how to choose the best of the best. I just get a bad reputation and vibe from anyone who works in the office they aren’t very helpful with getting you back on track with classes I have a private school willing to accept and work wit me but macc the community college won’t even consider me for classes due to me owing them money even though I have a payment plan set up with them. After I pay my bill I don’t think I would recommend anyone going here unless they are going to use the A+ scholarship and stay on top the needs and requirements for the A+ program. I felt more welcomed at the private school I recently enrolled in than I did at macc where I was a student. The math teacher and English teacher I had weren’t all that great and I didn’t gain anything but a bill from this college. Absolutely one of the best community colleges to attend in Missouri. Highly recommend. Ok for getting you General education but the advisors are terrible and the professors and tutors are not helpful. Very disappointed! Not the greatest college in the world. The good news is that you save money by getting your general education classes out of the way here  However, it's a bad college in terms of a social and community life. There's no clubs you can join, no dorm or campus life, the school itself is in an old mall, students are mostly there to take classes and then get out.  There's no community whatsoever. Compared to community colleges up north like Indian Hills, MACC is a big joke.  Get your associates degree out of the way, then get out of this school.   I like going to MACC very much. I've learned a lot through taking classes. The Instructors and staff are very helpful. With College you only get back what you put into it along with your effort.  The women at the front desk are hit-and-miss with their attitude, but this school is great for getting your general education out of the way. some of the professors here are the best I've ever had, even after transferring from Missouri University, but also the worst. You just have to make sure that you talk with the advisers, whom are the most useful asset this school has to offer. The advisers are genuinely happy to help you and work with you no matter the situation you're in. There are some really great professors here that I learned much from, but there are plenty who are untrained and unprofessional.
