I just called up there this morning to find out about the courses and the person who answered the phone was very rude , I wanted to know when the next set of course were because they aren’t on the website .  Cna at it's finest. Awesome teacher. Glad I chose to come to htg and would recommend to anybody if your looking for a fresh start. This is the place to be. Outstanding school with caring instructors that really make a difference I absolutely love this school! My CNA instructor is one of the most encouraging, caring, & motivating teachers I have met yet. (Shout out to Mrs. Lawrence) The school is very organized and with out a doubt, the teachers show that they care about students success. I wanted to say thank you to HTG for all your help in providing support on starting my new career. I did get the job, “ yay” and starting orientation. Keep being “super” ladies. TBH I went here to fulfill my dreams. The first teacher I had ended up quitting or fired who knows? The skills teacher which either was fired or quit I dunno?!  She never showed up  to teach the skills and didn’t teach us and when she was there (the 2xs she was) she straight told us she didn’t care if we passed or not she had hers, not very encouraging) and teacher 1 she just  didn’t try she had a horrible attitude and was rude. She leaves quits fired who knows? Then  enters the gentlemen who is teaching the course now . In my personal opinion he wasn’t that bad just to focused on other things. I spent $1000 for a CNA course and was not pleased. I watched YouTube videos that taught me my skills. The bookwork they have down but I feel skills are really important to learn. I could have went somewhere else for all the nonsense that happened while I attended.  Hopefully they figure this out. Also for that amount of money the book should be included. I understand why the State exam isn’t, but the book and the cpr training should be included. Amazing facilitators who are always willing to help. Friendly faces every time I walk in.  I've been calling the school since 10:30 am, line busy, busy, busy: it's 1:15 I decide to go in person to the school, I'm in the parking lot I call it goes straight to voice mail: when I enter someone pecks her head out I asked a question she answered by shaking her head the environment doesn't seem professional the atmosphere has no professionalism about it:\nMaya Angelou quoted: when people show you who they are believe them therefore I will not invest my money in such a unprofessional environment! I had the best teachers anyone could have.  I started with just receiving my EKG Technician first, which Mrs. Peggy was such an outstanding teacher for that class.  I am still in contact with a few of the students that graduated with me.  Then the day I graduated from EKG I signed up for CMA.  I am very happy that I did that.  My CMA teacher was the best along with my phlebotomy teacher.  Both of these teachers are LPNs with a great record of explicit experience in nursing and great stories of some of the wonderful memories throughout their nursing career.  I felt tremendous feeling that I can achieve any and everything since I graduated a little over 6 years ago from Health Tech of Ga.  I have told several women about this school and three are currently attending here for CMA and phlebotomy.  This school is a blessing and will continue to be.  Please take your next step if you are considering going here to this school, to a better future and professional career.  This is the school for greatness.   Good  I went to school here back in 2018. I took a phlebotomy course and it changed my whole life. Without this school getting my foot in the medical field would not have been as easy as it was. The things I learned here I wouldn’t have gotten with on the job training. It’s made me a better phlebotomist. I started with no medical experience and now I’m working as a phlebotomist/ lab assistant at 2 major hospitals in Texas. I love this school! Very unprofessional no straight forward communication rules change by the week super inconsistent not worth the $1000 I paid for the CNA class NOT including books and the test       I remember attended this school the outcome wasn't good. My first time attended a CNA class have no knowledge about the course. Teacher wasn't of no help,  but I realize other people give good review here.🤔Most of the students in the class already working as a CNA. I guess this school is for advance students not beginners. The instructors are wonderful, compassionate ladies who have years of experience in the medical field. I would recommend HTG to everyone. Great school to attend. Not too costly and you get way more than your money's worth. As soon as your one class or your whole program is complete, they have many places to get you a job in that field.  The first time I came was lovely everyone was friendly and the second time I came everyone was friendly the reason for the bad review because they didn't have no hot water in the salon I felt like I did the Ice Bucket Challenge that's how cold that damn water. Well got me is they call me to make sure that I was coming to my appointment why not tell the client oh by the way we've been out of hot water for a couple of weeks and we only using cold water do you still want to come. I would have said no and made plans to go Atlanta to the cosmetology school down there. Because I was getting my hair done off and get ready to go out of town that's the only reason why I let them do my hair. Other than that the students was very very good at what they do they did an excellent job it's just the school is making it hard for the student they need to do better the school. I regularly donate blood at their Larry Walker Arena. It has ample parking, is close to my home and the temperature in the arena is kept at a comfortable temperature. Easy in and easy out! This post isn’t concerning the school but the cdl program they are affiliated with. I applied last (fall of 2021) I was on a wait list. Now it’s almost summer (2022). And I’m still on the wait list. And to be clear, the wait list isn’t the problem, it’s the fact that I talked to a young lady who informed me I’d be in the summer class. She told me to update my application from fall to summer(so I did) and I would start class this summer. May 19. But when I spoke with Ms Renea, I’m now number 256… I mean if I’m that far down, why was it necessary to update for summer? I could’ve done an updated app for the fall!  Supportive staff Great teachers 👨‍🏫  This spot is totally terrible with correspondence. Each time I attempt to talk with somebody from monetary guide I get an individual in client support who thinks nothing about my monetary guide issues. I feel like the center man since no one needs to help and I'm adhered attempting to sort out everything myself. Also organization couldn't care less with regards to understudies or personnel. Thank god I have fair educators who care, yet the actual school is horrible. 10/10 won't be returning for spring semester. Not giving my fasfa to an unreliable 'school'. I feel like the middle man because nobody wants to help and I’m stuck trying to figure out everything myself. Not to mention administration doesn’t care about students or faculty. Thank god I have decent professors who care, but the college itself is terrible. 10/10 will not be coming back for spring semester. Not giving my fasfa to a irresponsible ‘college’. GET PROFESSIONAL     Do your research before attending CGTC. They are money hungry and may try to hold your transcripts claiming you owe them money. They told me I owed them over $300 for classes I registered for even though I could not have done that since I had already moved out of the state and had no intention of going back to that school. They lied and gave me the run around when I tried to sort it out. In the end I had no other recourse but to pay the balance so that I could continue education. If I had still been in Georgia this would not have happened because I would have been up there everyday but because I had relocated they knew they had the upper hand. .Whats worse is I was there because it was a recommended school for MyCAA(military funding). I hope that a lawyer catches wind of their fraudulent methods and sues them or the state closes them. Awful school with rude teachers. This place is an absolute JOKE masquerading as a higher learning institution. Advisors are slow to respond-if they even respond at all, Instructors FAIL TO INSTRUCT. I've asked for feedback on my assignments and not received it. Ive been denied assistance and additional information when I asked for it. One class is LITERALLY JUST FOLLOWING FREE YOUTUBE TUTORIALS!!!!!! And the other one has so many errors, and such poor grammar that comprehending what the instructor is asking you to do is near impossible. This is absolute laziness, a complete waste of my time, and a complete waste of my money. The people in the main building are no help whatsoever, everyone seems like they hate their job here.
