I had a wonderful experience with my application process, Catherine Cruz made it so easy for me & has been such a big help along the way! She responds quickly & answers every question I have. Thank you Catherine for helping me with everything, you are amazing!!!! Got my sterile processing certification from here and I would like to say my instructor, John Lofranco is one of the best Sterile Processing instructors at this school. From being very knowledgeable and caring he'll go above and beyond to make sure you're prepared for your board certificate in sterile processing. Altamont Healthcare is great school that offer quick programs like EKG technician. I did this program here and it was fast! Staff is great. My instructor Linda is very thorough and communicated with students well. The class is very small so we have all the attention we needed during the class. Victoria is the staff there when we came in weekly for the lab is so sweet! She made sure we are comfortable and gave everything we need. She even offered us treats/ food on our breaks because it was night class. The process getting certification after finishing program is quick too. I wish they have nursing or radiology tech programs here. I recommend many of my family members and colleagues about Altamont HealthCare! Great EKG program!  The teachers and staff were very helpful, and I learned ALOT in the short time! Lynda is very knowledgable and took the time to explain everything.  A++++++ My experience at Altamont Heathcare was great! John who was my lab instructor was very helpful and made sure that every student was on the same page. He made sure to make lab memorable/fun but also educational. The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because I felt a little rushed by my instructor on zoom. Liana has done a great job as being my coordinator, she helped me with my difficult times and has pushed me forward towards my success. She is the best! Liana went above and beyond in the process of obtaining an externship site for me.  I can't express enough how impressed I am of her professionalism and effectiveness during the process.\n\nYou have a real asset on your hands with Liana. I requested a call from this school for more information,  it’s been over a week, and heard from no one. Had a wonderful experience attending the SPD class. Jason was my weekend instructor and I got to say he's very knowledgeable and straight forward. He definitely knows his material. Our conversation @ first sight seemed very clear. But When I asked further questions about the program she got very cross with me and said, very rudely, to look on google or YouTube and see if you like the program. I had already informed her from the previous calls that Im interested and let’s move forward. Anyways, i do not tolerate Any impoliteness bad mannerisms. You can keep that to yourself. Great school I attended the Sterile Processing program in the summer of 2017. It was an accelerated course, with an instructor that had been in the field for over 20yrs. The preparation and coursework to get you prepared for the exam was intensive, and needed to be. The course is designed to be fast.\nI passed my exam and went through their externship program.  I was placed quickly.\nFast-forward 5 years later. I'm proudly serving America's Veterans, as a Sterile Processing Technician.\nThe staff at Altamont Healthcare has been extremely supportive. Even after 5 years I was able to reach out to them for help with my recertification.  I needed documents that I had lost.  Their response via email was instantaneous. The professionalism and expedited attention to this matter was greatly appreciated!\nThis program has changed the direction of my life. Thank you!\n\n12-4-2022 Update:  I am now re-certified as a CSPDT.  I also received the "seal of excellence" with CBSPD. Where's the merch?!\nHint, hint.... :-) My issue with school deals with doing externship. Why does it take so long to get set for an assignment? School not answering questions or giving you the run around. Plus, background checks shouldn’t take weeks and weeks to come back. Just seems like favoritism in the school. Tell you one thing then another. I’ve been done with the program since August. Haven’t gotten assigned yet for externship. I don’t wanna think or speak bad about the school cause I’m grateful for the experience but at the same time I paid too much money for them not to keep their end of the deal. I was promised an externship. I’m feeling slighted and looked over. Where do i start JUST Don’t DO IT! It’s not with your money they are completely disrespectful and unorganized the only Thing that’s organized is the Lady that call’s  about getting your payment if they tell you … you will have Carmen run she is as disrespectful as they come is has a power problem and is a horrible instructor she will never answer your questions your paying to see her with her dog all day and tell her make-believe story JUST DON’T do it ! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Oh and there not recognized by the better Business Bureau ! If you want to learn nothing and look at PowerPoint slides all day then this is perfect for you. I signed up for their externship program and had it all lined up.
