  I had a fire in my building. Hallways were full of smoke and they said that they couldnt help me after I waited all day for employee( Linda) to call me back, after telling me she would. I told them I had no where to go and I was disable, couldn't breathe and they still didnt help me. This place should not receive donations since they only help"certain people" Now I know what New Orleans went thru. Its a shame and a law suit should be filed against them. People are in desperate need of blood. We all can help out!! It is a great thing to do. It helps save LIVES!!! Where I really donate blood   Excellent No.1 Friendly knowledgeable people. Very clean facility  Quick , with skilled phlebotomy. Went to donate blood and they either missed or screwed something up somehow. I heard the word "hematoma" mentioned between the staff and they couldn't complete the draw.  When I left, I couldn't move my arm all day.  It still hurts and there's a massive bruise that's slowly healing. Overall, will never ever go back.  I just really hope there's no permanent damage. Best place for donating blood. Staff usually good but there are a few that make me wonder. Been donating for years! it's the American Red Cross I try and donate every 3 months and the staff is always nice
