 Awesome place to build one’s self. A community of supporters and a community to network. Just syntax on top of you business and you’ll do just fine. Ask questions, if not answered remember to follow up. Fantasy place Don’t go through Westside works especially for a medical assistant I was kicked out the program 2 weeks prior to completion because Ms.Tuwanda or However you spell was so bitter and mad Ronno Tucker is succession in a great works.  Their communication skills need a lot of fine tuning. I've met children, people that are mentally challenged or mentally ill that communicate on a far superior level than this organization. While they do have beneficial programs and services via their partners, it seems like they don't want to share them with anyone nor help you achieve your goals. No one should be this incompetent when doing any job. They can't seem to do anything correct or apologize when a mistake is made on their behalf. I would advise you to avoid them and deal with other organizations in the area. They are not professional nor accountable. These people are trash and really need a reality check. You won't be in business for long if you keep operating like you don't give a damn. I'll be sure to share my experiences with as many people as I can. I'm less than satisfied with how poorly I've been treated since I began reaching out. Your average “nonprofit” who doesn’t care about people I attended a orientation today with a I thought friend today. This agency support the community with job training and placement. It's amazing how people don't even know about this place! Today was the best/worst day ever! The friend I brought here (Israel, Muslim man) accused me of being with the security guard. All the young man did was spotted me backing my truck out onto the street because parking was full and all of a sudden, I'm accused of sleeping with him. Amazing 🤔. Don't even know his name but will be there tomorrow to withdraw from the program due to this crazy person threatening me and the young man because of his extreme insecurities. Just amazing 🤬🤬🤬 Loved it! Complete waste of time!!! Don’t bother!!! I truly Love this place.It has given me so many opportunities & I am beyond elated to have such a program in my neighborhood.Wedtdide Works offers so many classes ,skills ,trades and connections for the citizens in this community.      Good  Great  8yrs experience in filing paperwork. 6yrs experience in management: scheduling , running 2nd shift, A staff team of 35 persons. 20yrscof handling monies, 5yrs experience in cashiering and customer Services Representative   They was not open? Loving it   Excellent Great community resource.  I was a student of the Construction Ready Plus Program. The establishment is well known for the Program. The experience there was combine with individuals of great future Leaders.    This is a great program for second chances. I can not thank them enough. Administration is awesome! Graduation was very nice with 100 percent job placement! Provides the best community based workforce development for the Westside of Atlanta. Thank You      Positive place I'm currently utilizing their services it's a success for me Great things are happening 👍  Great community resource  They offer free job training in several fields    Poor management, need to reorganize starting with upper management. I went through this company to get funding to attend a CNA program. I was told I would need to attend a two week skills class in order to move forward. At the time, I was not working and my car was down so I spent money I didn't have getting back and forth to this place for two weeks, in addition to returning for several appointment after that but here I am, months later and still no CNA training!  I'm left in a worse position than I was before I came to them! I have called and called and left message after message, never getting a return call or someone tells another lie, or someone will send an arbitrary email cc'ing people who don't even do their jobs anyway so it's pointless and a waste of more time. They tell you to show up for an appointment at 11am, then the person you're meeting doesn't even show up until 1pm. Do yourself a favor and try other avenues for training. They just want to use you for photo ops and an opportunity to pretend like they're revilatizing the community, when in actuality they are just there collecting a state paycheck and doing absolutely nothing.    I'm an Intake Specialist  at Westside Works we provide "FREE" career training for the residents of the City of Atlanta. I love being of service to all of the residents. Will help you as much as you help yourself. Great opportunities. The people there were very willing to assist. If u stay on westside of Atlanta and need trades or certification, please go. Free education!!!  Lovely place...devoted to the development of people living in Atlanta. They are well organized too. They act like there job placement after training but it not very misleading They really like helping people in the  comunity. They are so helpful and careing. My favorite learning place.
