Best CNA Classes in Delaware
Delaware Skills Center

I was able to begin my education in HVAC under the tutelage of Mr. Schneider. His teaching style was excellent and he spent his time making sure all of us truly grasped the information presented. I feel that I gained a solid education in HVAC as well as valuable life lessons applicable to the construction trades world. I found a fantastic job upon graduating and quickly found my way from maintenance technician to a full service tech. My life has been critically enhanced because of my education. Not to mention the rest of the staff was extremely professional and accommodating. Thank you DSC for giving me a foot in the door to my forever career! If you want to be well taught by the best instructors, this is the place to be. I’m forever grateful to Ms Susan Anderson, Ms Martha, Ms Dennis, Ms Jane and Ms Jacqueline Hawkes! No judgment arena! Thank you DSC! I was a student at DSC Fall of 2019 in their HVAC course. Studied under the loquacious Mr. Schneider who has so much comprehension & years of experience to share. The teachings were assimilated and with each new day I looked forward to topics I could learn to improve my skill-set.

POLYTECH Adult Education

10/10 from me. The staff is exceptionally kind, accommodating and patient. Even someone with crippling anxiety like me can get a high school diploma, I really couldn’t do this without the guidance counselors help. The bathrooms are clean, the classrooms are neat and the staff are friendly. This is a fantastic technical school that does require students that are willing to learn. The teachers here are fantastic and involved with their students and the curriculum. Good place to get your ged or high school diploma or take other classes. Following covid guidelines, it’s a wonderful place to further your education!

If you’re needing hip or knee replacement surgery, this is the place to go. You have a lot of questions, and Ashley Munoz, BSN RN had a lot of answers. The vaccine process was wonderful! In and out in 20 mins. Very pleased with the experience! It was very clean and Kim is awesome person and the nanticoke bariatric group, his whole office is awesome shout-out to dr. Waked. Very friendly and efficient staff.

Delaware Tech – Innovation and Technology Center

Deltechs innovation campus is a nice place to learn a trade with great classes and teachers. Classes are small and hands on, and instructors know your name and are willing to work with you. The SEED Program is great, as anyone can apply for the program. The front door is the one with the awning. However, there seems to be an issue with the hours listed on Google, as someone came in at 3 and it said the campus closed at 4. Overall, it’s a great place to try and learn a skill, and one satisfied student will be sending new students their way.

Delaware Technical Community College – Charles L. Terry Jr. Campus – Dover

A beautiful campus with in minutes of the main strip in Dover. Lots of great classes offered at and affordable price. I can’t wait to attend. If I could give this college no star that is what it would get. The worst every time I tried to get help I would walk away thinking ok everything is good. No help with anything. It makes you want to give up. Thank you for being the WORST. This is an Amazing College. If I had stayed with it instead of waiting for 1 more job to come around I would have been able to stay with it and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology but, the job I took to work in the field as a prerequisite to finish college, wouldn’t work with me so I could finish college. Some of the staff is very nice and helpful however others especially in the math department ruin it for the rest. They are completely unprofessional when it comes to dealing with conflict resolution. They were very unresponsive sometimes taking 2-3 weeks to get back to you. They treat student concerns as a chore and annoyance rather than doing their JOB. They prefer to bounce around problems to other people and departments rather than help. They have just forgotten or ignored complaints rather than dealing with them.

Delaware Technical Community College – Orlando J. George Jr. Campus – Wilmington

Pretty good and clean campus! Staff is always very friendly and all the structure and infrastructure are in a good condition. Definitely my favorite campus I’ve been to so far. I graduated from Del Tech in 2020. Del Tech has the best teachers and hands on practical classes! It’s a great place i like working there staff and students are very kind. Very nice campus and facilities. The staff there are always helpful and kind. School is what you make it, and I myself learned a lot, meet the coolest people great memories and good friends still to this very day special shout-out to “Ray” (MFL) Shawn, Kay, Michelle and Robert. If you are new to wilmington …you better use north Orange street….the gps directs you to shipley street….thats at the back of the collge.

Delaware Technical Community College – Stanton Campus – Newark

As a chemistry student with a 3.8 GPA, that has attended other 4 year universities, this review comes with experience, and not hate or spite. The two star rating is split between the amazing chemistry department, the math department which is complete trash, and the general lack of office management at this school. Starting with the math department, their teachers and adjuncts do not care about their students. They live with a “if you get it you get it, if you don’t, you just drown” philosophy. Their chemistry and science department is the complete opposite. All my science teachers have taken the time to tutor and make sure everyone that wants help, gets it. They hire professors and scientists with PHDs that are very intelligent, know what they are talking about, and just generally have caring hearts. The reason for 2 stars and not 3, comes from how bad their offices and assistance systems work. The financial aid office is a nightmare. Props to Dr. Statler though, she really helped me with my accommodations and helped me get through most of my classes with great grades. I do recommend going here.

Dawn Career Institute

I attended Dawn Career Institute from Aug 2011-April 2012 for Medical Billing and Coding Online. The teachers were always willing to help with anything at anytime. The online classes were tough at times but if you put you’re mind into it then you will get what you put into it. The people in the department to help with job searching are extremely helpful! She goes out of her way to help you with getting a job after it’s all done. I can say though Online is NOT for everyone. There are no breaks at all. Holiday or not so be sure to be focused and know what you are getting into. I got a great job with the help of Dawn Career but you have to work very hard. The world is still hurting so believe finding a job isn’t going to happen If you don’t put in the time to find one. Thank you Dawn Career for all the help you gave me. I started 3 months in on having a infant, I just want to say I appreciate the medical instructors helping me pull through it’s really hard when you have a infant versus a child when dealing with online school and your teachers a phone call away but your kid could do something that puts your attention to something else.
