About The Independence Center:

Founded in 1987, The Independence Center, which is also referred as “The IC”, is a non-profit organization offering traditional, as well as self-directed home healthcare. Other services that are offered by the organization include independent living and advocacies for individuals with disabilities. Although their mission is to work with individuals dealing with disabilities to create independence, they are also offering an advanced CNA Training Program that needs attention here. Following are the details about the CNA Training Program offered by The IC. Check out:

About The IC CNA Training Program:

The CNA Training Program offered by the organization is a multi-award winning nurse aide training program that is aimed towards the aspiring nurses who want to get the necessary training for becoming a professional “Certified Nurse Aide”. This training program offers the course-takers an advanced-level preparatory education as needed by the “Colorado’s State Board of Nursing” prior to taking the state’s competency and evaluation examinations.

In short, the whole training covers instructions both on the technical side, as well as on the nursing skills side, covered by the board exams.

As such, the organization is keeping the enrollment costs for this program reasonable and so, there is no need for the candidates to worry about the hidden costs or fee for unwanted supplies. It has been noted that the organization is modest yet well-equipped to keep the operating costs reasonable, which means that enrollment fee in The IC is lower than a majority of other CNA programs out there.

The program is completely approved by “Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies”, “State Board of Nursing”, and “Colorado Department of Labor and Employment”.
